Color, Click, Capture Challenge

Welcome to Week 1 of the Color, Click, Capture photography challenge hosted by East9thStreet, A Helicopter Mom, Nap Time Is My Time and Sunshine and Sippy Cups!  The color this week is RED.

When I think of Red I think of my son eating spaghetti. I love to watch him eat spaghetti and sauce even though I know he is going to be a mess and require a bath afterwards.

One Handed Feeding With The Baby Dipper Bowl

Ever have one of those moments where you set your baby's bowl of food down on the table. You turn around while unknowingly hitting the spoon and the next thing you know the bowl and spoon are on the floor and peas are flying everywhere. I have done that many times while feeding my son. His bowls are just your standard bowls with no weight to them so they are very easy to knock over.

After trying out the Baby Dipper Bowl I am quite pleased with the fact that the bowl isn't easy to move. The Baby Dipper Bowl is solid plastic with a rubber rim to prevent the bowl from sliding around as you feed your child. The inside is sloped to make it easier to scoop the food. Created by a mom with twins, The Baby Dipper Bowl is made to feed with one hand.

Usually I use both hands when I would feed my son, one hand holding the bowl and the other with the spoon. This is very inconvenient as you may know. This bowl allows me to feed him with one hand while using my other hand for other things.

The Baby Dipper Bowl is available in two colors: Bubble Blue and Tickled Pink. Each bowl comes with a spoon and a fork.

Check out The Baby Dipper Bowl on Facebook and Twitter.

The Baby Dipper Bowl is also giving my readers a chance to win a bowl set in their choice of color. Enter below on the Rafflecopter form.

Note:Previous recipients of Baby Dipper bowls (in giveaways or for reviews) are not eligible to win this giveaway.

Baby Bash Giveaway: Organic Baby Gift Boutique

Now that my baby is no longer a baby but a toddler it is time to upgrade his utensils and dinnerware.

I received the Green/Blue Melamine Snack Tray to review from Organic Baby Gift Boutique. When I first received my package I had been looking out the window and saw the box marked fragile fly out of the drivers hand and onto the ground. I was afraid that it would be broken once I opened it but was pleasantly surprised when there was not a scratch or crack in this set.  Furthermore this set has withstood the abuse from my toddler as he has thrown the dishes many times from his high chair.  This set is very durable and oh so cute.

I absolutely love the trays this set comes with. I have been using this set for awhile and the trays are my favorite part.  The bigger tray I use to hold all the bowls so that I can make one trip from the kitchen. The smaller tray is great for cutting up my toddlers favorite snacks like banana or toast.
I am very pleased with this product and its ease of use. You can find this set and more online at Organic Baby Gift Boutique. Organic Baby Gift Boutique is an online boutique that sells a wide variety of Organic and Eco-friendly products.

Baby Birthday Bash with Buddy Fruits

Diapers check
Wipes check
Spare Clothes check
Bottle check
Baby Food check
Spoon check

This is what I have to think about before I leave the house nowadays. Making sure my baby has everything he may need is a must. Meal times on the run are not always the most easy or the most clean. I don't know about you but feeding a baby jar food that is liquidy is not the most desirable when you are out in public. Most of the time my son's food ends up everywhere but in his mouth.

That is why I am glad to have found Buddy Fruits. Buddy Fruits are pure blended fruit in a pouch. No need to have a spoon baby can self feed with these.

Buddy Fruits:
100% Fruits, Nothing Else!
No Seeds, No Peel!
Blend of Fruits'Flesh Only
Delicious and Smooth Flavor

I can tell you my baby loves these. He will suck them down quick too. Perfect for little hands to hold.

Buddy Fruits also have Fruit Bites
and Blended Fruit and Milk.

The Fruit Bites are little gummy like chunks that remind me of the fruit snacks for kids only these are made of 100% fruit.

I cut these in half for my baby and like knowing that he is eating a healthy snack rather than something with a ton of sugar.

The Blended Fruit & Milk pouches are made with 100% pure fruit and skim milk. My son has yet to try these but I am sure he will love them just like the other Buddy Fruit items.

Overall Buddy Fruits are a great product for babies and toddlers. I am really glad that we tried these and will continue to purchase this brand in the future. Giving my baby healthy snacks that are not made with preservatives and artificial flavors is a top priority of mine.

You can check out Buddy Fruits
on Facebook and Twitter.

I am excited to bring you the opportunity to try Buddy Fruits for yourself. Just enter the Rafflecopter form below for a chance to win a mix pack of Buddy Fruits.

Today is my baby's birthday.

Today is my baby's birthday. I guess I can no longer call him a baby but a toddler. This day one year ago I gave birth to a healthy 8 pound 14 oz baby!!!

I couldn't believe how big he was. Now I still can't believe how big he is. He has learned so much in this year and it is truly amazing to watch him grow and learn. I look forward to watching him grow and learn for many years to come.

Happy Birthday to my little man!!!!

My baby is crawling

My baby is practically crawling. It seems just like yesterday that  he was just a small bundle in my arms, well if you call almost 9 pounds small that is.  Time really seems to go by fast when you have a kid.

Just this past week he has begun to sit on his hands and knees and rock.  Just the other day he started pulling himself around. Today he no longer stays on the rug where I put him, instead he moves around the whole floor chasing after his toys.

I know the next step is walking and while I am eager to see him learn this I still wish he would stay a small baby. Watching him grow and learn is truly amazing.

Introducing My Baby Boy

Once again it has been awhile since I have posted. The reason for this is me trying to get used to being a new mom. I don't have much time to myself or much time where I have both my hands free to do as I please. My baby has always been a high need baby. He started out colicky and now he is just fussy. He is going through teething so I don't blame him, it just makes it hard for me to get on here and post.

So without further ado here is my baby boy:

No not this one. This would be my first. His name is Marvin, a beautiful 2 year old blue pit-bull.
This is not the baby I am talking about but I just had to show him off since he is so beautiful.

Here is my beautiful 5 month old.  I know that when he gets older he will keep me on my toes. I can see how determined he is. Even now when he wants something he tries to grab it.
